Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / Node.js - part 3, Chaincode, Client-SDK, Binary Version Peer/Orderer
In this Meetup we use the binary edition of a chaincode devmode environment to analyse how the Node.js SDK can be applied. We build on our work of 29th of January 2021 and benefit from the binary versions of peers and orderers generated in this session to create a Node.js chaincode and to access it for test purposes. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / Implementation of a chaincode with Node.js - part 2 CouchDb
In this meetup we expand the example of the meetup on 26th February 2021 with a CouchDB query. Furthermore, we learn how CouchDB as State-Database in Fabric 2.2 can be activated and how we can use this in the development phase of a chaincode. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / Implementation of a chaincode with Node.js - part 1
In this meetup we look at the building process of a chaincode by means of Node.js. The following fields are examined more closely: –peer-chaincodedev mode with Docker, fabric-chaincode-api (Node.js), installation of the developed chaincode in the test-network, and the creation of a simple test script to analyse the performance. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / How to Use Node.js for HLF Application Development - an Overview
This article gives an overview how Node.js can be implemented in the development of applications in a HLF project. We look at the development of smart contracts as well as the usage of Node.js to interact with the blockchain network. Furthermore, I give a short overview of the CHFD (Certified Hypberledger Fabric Developer) certification. Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / Chaincode Development Environment - a Comparison
In this article I compare two different approaches how the Fabric Chaincode Development Environment can be applied. For this purpose a PEER in a –peer-chaincodedev mode can be started. The advantage of this method is the avoidance of running through the whole installation process after a change of the chaincode. For testing the changes a restart of the chaincode containers is sufficient. Thus, the testing of a chaincode is simplified.
Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / DAML - an introduction
In this meetup we are going to have Anthony Lusardi as a guest speaker. He will give us an introduction to Daml, a programming language and techstack for distributed ledgers along with a live demonstration of Daml’s unique ability to be written once and deployed anywhere including Hyperledger Fabric 2.2 and Sawtooth. Hyperledger Fabric v2 Chaincode Development Network, a comparison
In this article I would like to introduce two possible ways to run a fabric test network for chaincode development. If you want to develop a chaincode for a certain business case, you need a way to quickly test your chaincode without the complexity of a running fabric network. 20 Years samlinux
A turbulent year is coming to its end. The corona pandemic has all of us firmly under control. At the same time, a very pleasant event for us almost went under, namely our 20th company anniversary. Yes, samlinux’s history goes back 20 years. It is time to take a look back and a closer look at our exciting journey from the beginnings of the internet to today’s cloud computing. We have always been a company that has stayed in the background.
Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) / The Road to a Network
In this article we learn how to create a Hyperledger Fabric 2.2 network from scratch by ourselves. The aim is to install a persistent network with three peer organisations and a solo RAFT Orderer. Afterwards, we install a Chaincode (ABstore) and test it with CLI Tools. Support - Material view slides With the samlinux newsletter service automatically up-to-date.
